摘要
The given research work is of topical interest and is stipulated by the profound analysis of stereotypes of perception of Russia in existing English cultures. The aim of the research work is to describe the creation of the image of Russia in the English discourse with the help of different linguistic means and to show the influence of this image on cross-cultural, political and economic relations. Different stereotypes of Russia that originated in the Western cultures are studied in this work for the purpose of creating a comprehensive image of Russia in the world arena which is one of the actual tasks of today.
