摘要
The article discusses the influence exerted by the Russians (and other representatives of the westernized civilization) on the everyday life of the peoples of Central Asia. In the article the results of field research in the Kazakh auls are analyzed, a comparative functional method and a method of survivals, historical and cultural methods are applied, ethnographic artifacts from the museum collections, graphic materials collected by researchers are investigated. The analysis of the scientific literature and of the ethnographic artifacts suggests that the cultural influence of the alien westernized population on the everyday life of the peoples of Central Asia in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries was very insignificant and was reduced to penetrating the traditional art of new technologies and materials. And it did not affect the content of local creations. Only since the 1920s the noticeable influence of other culture elements on the lives of the most of the population of Central Asia has been observed.
