The research of management information system based on the viewpoint of life-cycle period

摘要
Information systems applied in the professional management of construction project on behalf of the owner, which are almost separately developed for Development Planning in the decision phase, Project Management in the implementation phase and Facility Management in the operation phase, just serve their own separate management purposes and are established in different project languages and work platforms. Flexible, effective and efficient information communication is difficult to realize and this causes many potential disadvantages, such as information not shared in different phases, the cost of capturing valuable decision information too high, transparency of information too poor, information omission, distortion, delay, interruption and overriding easily occurred. The paper puts forward the concept of the Life-cycle Integrated Management Information System (LMIS); and focuses on the framework of the information model, and the level and method of system integration.
