Citation network of CVD research: Research topics and journals

摘要
A study has analyzed the citation network of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to guide researchers to a comprehensive understanding of the emerging brief structure of CVD, and to achieve this purpose, the investigation has involved the analysis of the paper-paper network and also analyzed Journal-Journal network. The investigation has offered an overall landscape of CVD research with the assistance of a computer-based approach, citation network analysis, a powerful tool for extracting the overall structure of a research domain composed of a large volume of papers. Journal-Journal network analysis revealed the existence of citation groups of journals, whereas paper-paper network found that the citation group of papers was divided by the material synthesized therein. Periodical monitoring of paper and journal network also enabled to seize the landscape of CVD research in a manner which cannot be done manually, and also helps to understand the characteristics of CVD-related journals.
