摘要
The following is the result of the work of mental health clinicians who have been meeting as a group for two years. This group has met monthly specifically to discuss difficult disclosure issues that emerge when working with HIV-positive children and teenagers who were perinatally infected. This project is funded through the Partnership for Family Health: Northern Manhattan HIV Consortium, a six site program providing comprehensive services to HIV/AIDS infected and affected women, children and their families in New York City. The general themes of the group's work, as well as ideas for facilitating the disclosure process for children are noted.
