摘要
The researchers conducted this study to investigate elementary school teacher's perceptions regarding attributes related to the national ICT (Information and Communication Technology) program in the official elementary schools. This study examines the nature of the added pedagogical value of the ICT and the teachers' readiness to integrate and implementing this program in the process of teaching and pedagogy in their work at school. The Participants of this study included 275 elementary school teachers. This study was carried out during the years 2012-2013 using a quantitative research approach. The data collected via an online survey, of attitudes towards the national ICT program. The quantitative data was analyzed using SPSS 17 statistical package. Moreover, we checked the potential relationship between the demographic variables such as gender, teaching experience, academic degree, teachers' profession subjects, the distribution of participants by role and each one of the following aspects: (1) teachers' attitudes towards ICT, (2) teachers' requirements from the students to use ICT tools, (3) the use of teachers to ICT tools, (4) the extent of teachers' use of ICT, (5) the difficulties of using ICT and (6) how well ICT components are used in the teachers' webs in school portals.
