摘要
We have studied transient absorption spectroscopy of bis(9-fluorenyl)methane (BFM) by means of nanosecond time-resolved transient absorption spectroscopy. Transient absorption spectra of BFM were measured by means of a us flash photolysis technique. A temporal measurement for individual transient species was also performed. A transient absorption is shown to occur at about 400 similar to 800 nm, presumably due to triplet-triplet absorption. The lifetime of the triplet excited state was measured to be tau = 19.3 +/- 0.7 mu s.
