摘要
This paper will analyze a spherical vessel that is used for storing technical gases and is subjected to different types of axis-symmetric stresses. The membrane shell theory is used in the analysis to derive mathematical expressions For calculating the wall displacement. These mathematical expressions are valid for different sections of the vessel wall since there are variations in the fluid level as well as the support location. A computer program was created to rest the developed mathematical expressions in analysis.
