摘要
The aim of the study is to describe the relationship between local songs and moral values or moral education. This research is a descriptive qualitative investigation that reveals the interpretation and meaning of songs as a whole. The researcher choose five songs that represented moral values from various region of part of Indonesia. At least five values cultivate by the songs, 1) in addressing a life problem should consider more spiritually and other social aspects; 2) knowing the message from the Guardians that one day they will die and will meet the Creator to account for all deeds 3) advise to look for the treasure of true happiness, do not people obey their own desires or greed.; 4) remind human should not be greedy And 5) to know willingly and sincerely the soul of his body sacrifices in order to defend the country.
