摘要
The authors describe their composite index of society's sociopsychological state, correlate it with other similar indicators, and trace its dynamics during the reform years. The obtained data show that the sociopsychological state of our society is extremely unsatisfactory, which leads to a number of negative consequences. The conclusion of the article that it is necessary to introduce radical changes in the purposes and benchmarks of the country's development, which were mainly reduced to economic indicators during the first reform years, is substantiated.
