摘要：
We report on a bistable wave transmission through a narrow slit perforated on a perfectly conducting metal screen and filled with a Kerr nonlinear dielectric. Approximate analytical expressions are used to calculate both the field intensity inside the narrow slit and the transmission coefficient.
