摘要
A hybrid microstrip array antenna is proposed for scattering cancellation. The array is composed of two types of antenna units. The two types of units are designed to have similar radiation properties and different scattering properties. Type I is a common antenna unit, and type II is with bvo slots on the microstrip patch. The two slots are used to control the phase difference of scattering field compared with the one without slots. The two types of units are then utilized to design an array to achieve scattering cancellation. Simulated results show that 15 dB radar cross section (RCS) reduction can be achieved by this method.
