摘要
A low profile wide band tightly coupled dipole array antenna is presented. By adding shorting posts, the common mode resonance in the band is removed. And the addition of the superstrate and impedance transform structure makes the matching degree much improved. The antenna and the impedance transform structure are printed on FR4 substrate with a relative dielectric constant of 4.4. And the superstrate is arranged above the antenna. The proposed antenna can realize 0.86-4.52GHz scanning voltage standing-wave ratio value < 3 up to 45 degrees in E-plane. The structure is simulated in infinite condition through periodic boundary by Ansys HFSS the size of 65.5mm (height)*23.5mm(width)*33mm(length). The results show stable radiation pattern and great polarization purity (<20dB).
