摘要
A preliminary study assessed the influence of cashew leaf, fruit and shell extracts [5, 15, 25 and 50 % (w/v)] on the growth of some polypathogenic fungi (Phytophthora palmiovora, Alternaria solani, Fusarium solani, Rhizoctonia bataticola, Sclerotium rolfsii, Pellicularia filamentosa, Macrophomina phaseolina and Phomopsis vexans) which infect crops in Kerala. Cashew shell extract suppressed the growth of all the fungi, hence, it may be used as antifungal botanical for eco-friendly and sustainable disease management.
