New space-time wireless channel model and its computer simulation method

摘要
Channel model is essential to performance analysis smart antenna systems. Parameters are not easily determined in GBSBEM (Geometrically Based Single-Bounce Elliptical Model) model, which is commonly used in smart antenna systems. This paper presented a ne v space-time model, which combines GBSBEM model and the mobile model suggested by UMTS-IMT-2000. Based on GBSBEM model, the presented model absorbed some parameters like time delay and power in UMTS-IMT-2000 suggested model. At the same time, Doppler effect was also taken into account. The detailed simulation steps are included in this paper. Based on the presented model, multi-user space-time model was also presented. Computer simulation shows that the presented model is feasible in smart antenna system.
