Performance analysis of the hybrid DS/SFH spread spectrum system under the Nakagami-m fading channel with multi-tone jamming

摘要
In this paper we analyze the performance of the hybrid DS/FH spread spectrum system in the Nakagami-m fading environment when multi-tone Jamming exists. Analytical results showed that as the frequency-hopping rate increased, the performance of this system was enhanced. When we fixed the mixing ratio of the spread spectrum system, the DS/FH spread spectrum system had lower bit error probabilities than did the DS spread spectrum system. Also, as the fading index in increased, the fading effect decreased. As the signal-to-jamming ratio (SJR) increased, the performance of the DS/FH spread spectrum system became better than that of the DS spread spectrum system. As a result, we proved that the hybrid DS/SFH spread spectrum system shows better performance than the DS spread spectrum system.
