Necking force Optimum for Spherical plain Bearing ring blanks based on Parametric Finite Element Analysis

摘要
In this paper, Numerical optimization technique combined with finite element analysis was developed in the Bearing ring blanks' Neck forming analysis process, and it was used to minimize necking force in different blank shapes. The Research of Numerical optimization is based on Cubic Spline to define the bearing ring blank and mold's generatrix shape. From numerical analysis study, it is evident that the bearing ring blank and die's shape after optimal, significantly decrease the necking force and contact stress in neck forming process.
