摘要：
Specific risks associated with managing geotechnical construction projects in built-up areas are examined. The authors demonstrate the necessity of involving the participation of customers and contractors (construction organizations) in comprehensive geotechnical risk management carried out at all construction stages, which is aimed at ensuring good workmanship, as well as the safety of existing structures. In addition, particular features of construction in built-up, constrained urban areas are described.
