摘要
Nowadays with elevation of Technology, electrical power requirement is grow exponentially rate. So many instruments require quality power for their operation run continuously. The consumer appliances are demand for quality power. But due to some inner components and outer components the quality power distribution is pretentious to consumer's side. Differencein current, voltage and frequency quality of powerproblemsoccurs in power system network. The Power electronic converters are the main cause for power quality issues, because of their high switching characteristics. So to reduce the harmonics feeded by the nonlinear load, the filters are mostly used devices particularly shunt Hybrid active power filter (HAPF) are for quality of power improvement. In this paper described the HAPF i.e shunt passive filter in series with active power filter are implemented, and two different compensation techniques are implemented. Fryze, IRP theories with different filtering techniques and different loading conditions. And PI controller are used for feedback mechanism to calculate the P-lossi.e filter inverter switching losses and hysteresis current control technique is used to generate PWM pulses gives to APF inverter. Modeling, analysis and comparative study of two different compensation techniques is described in detail. Simulation is carried out using MATLAB/SIMULINK for different compensation techniques and different filtering conditions and the THD values are tabulated.
