摘要：

Social networks constitute an emerging and rapidly spreading technology that has changed the way of human communication and cooperation. In this paper, we study the learning capabilities of social networks and platforms like Twitter, Wikispaces and TodaysMeet in line with pedagogical approaches and training activities with the aim to assist teachers and scaffold students' learning needs. The educational capabilities of these social networks has been studied in real classroom conditions and the results indicate that the proper utilization of social networks and web 2.0 tools in terms of students' active engagement can motivate and improve students' learning.
