In the past few years, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with high surface area, large pore volume, and tunable composition have attracted much research attention due to their applications in the fields of drug delivery and cancer treatment. In this review, the authors summarize the recent developments in the field of MOFs-based multifunctional nanoplatforms for cancer therapy.
