摘要
This study tackles the thematic of teaching reading comprehension in the particular field of science texts oriented on the students of 1st and 2nd grade (pupils of 12-14 years old) of Spanish obligatory secondary education. With the purpose of stimulating and evaluating the capacity of reading comprehension of the pupils, the action research was realized through the implementation of the INSERT (Interactive Noting System of Effective Reading and Thinking) method in the classroom. By qualitative analysis based on the results obtained by the lecture of 5 texts, we are looking for answers about the level of learning of pupils as well as the common usefulness and validity of the method.
