Direct numerical simulation of micro-flow resonators in the presence of grazing flow

摘要
The sound absorption mechanism of multiple micro-flow resonators at the presence of grazing flows is investigated by direct numerical simulation (DNS). To validate the developed DNS method, several cases at zero grazing flow are firstly studied. And the present numerical results are compared with the experimental and numerical results by Tam et al. Furthermore, one, two and multiple micro-flow resonators with grazing flows are numerically studied to show the effects of grazing flow and the interaction of multiple resonators.
