摘要：
Although some studies show an important overall survival benefit due to adjuvant irradiation for breast cancer, no meta-analysis of all randomized trials [1, 2] could confirm this. We tried to detect important treatment related parameters (with respect to overall survival) by re-analyzing the trials in the meta-analysis [1]. Some methodological and biological characteristics, traditionally not investigated, were checked for their influence on overall survival.
