摘要：
A new tandem C-C bond forming process has been developed which utilises silicon-tethered dinucleophiles and acetals under Lewis acid conditions. The reaction incorporates a functionalised five carbon unit into both aromatic and aliphatic acetals, affording acyclic beta-alkoxyhomoallylic alcohols in good yields. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd.
