A Review of the International Competitiveness of Chinese Textile Industry

The textile industry has always been an important pillar industry among Chinese national economy, which is the coupling point of agriculture and industry and that of light industry and heavy industry, and it plays a vital role in the clothing consumption, market prosperity, employment stability, income growing, and foreign exchange accumulation. The advance of the international competitiveness of textile industry has a bearing on not only the overall situation of Chinese national economy, but also the long-term development of Chinese textile industry, but the domestic research in this area is still lacking. Therefore, this paper does a comprehensive and systematic analysis and evaluation on the research advance of international competitiveness of domestic textile industry, putting forward many problems in the current domestic research, and establishing a foundation for the further research of international competitiveness of the textile industry.
