摘要
The Pr-doped gamma-Ce2S3 red pigment was prepared by a hydrothermal combine sulfurize process. CeCl3 center dot 7H(2)O, Pr6O11, and CS2 were used as cerium source, dopant source, and sulfur source, respectively. Pr-doped CeO2 precursor was prepared at 180 degrees C with hydrothermal method, followed by sulfurize treatment 150 min at 900 degrees C. The effect of doped proportion, sulfurize condition to phase composition of red pigment was observed. Furthermore, the thermal stabilities and chromaticity of as-prepared pigment were investigated. Results of calcinations in the air and color measure indicated that Pr-doping enhances the resistant temperature for oxidization of pigment. A red color (L* = 25.58, a* = 29.47, b* = 17.27) was still remained after heated at 470 degrees C in the air.
