摘要
In this paper, we propose a new methodology for generating NC instruction codes for multi-axis machine tool. In a proposed method, we consider system constructed from machine tool, a cutting tool, workpiece and fixture is regarded as a closed mechanical system. This mechanical system is modeled by a distribution of an information processing element called cell in the proposed method. Cell has control decision to maintain geometric shape and structure of mechanical system, to avoid any interferences and to contact the machining surface. The instruction code of mechanical system is produced by simulating system's motion generated from behavior of the cells. This paper describes method of modeling mechanical system by a set of cell and detail of cell's control decisions needed to represent mechanical system.
