Samarco integrated management system

Samarco Mineracao S/A, observant to the changes in management and to crescent social demands, has established since 1991 a model of Quality Management according to Juran. It focuses on quality, cost, delivery, morale and safety (QCDMS), and aims at getting results consistent with the needs and expectations of the stakeholders. This model made possible the integration, all over the company, of the management systems for quality, environment, occupational health and safety. All of them in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9002, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and organized in a simple and efficient way thus, assuring the company's longevity, profitability and its ability to foresee problems.
