Strategic orientations have attracted scholars' attention across disciplines. The pros and cons of such orientations have been studied extensively. However, studies have focused mainly on outcomes of such orientations but less so on their antecedents. Against this background, we developed and tested a model of organizational antecedents of pioneering and entrepreneurial orientations. [GRAPHICS] .
