Research on the power oscillation of hybrid AC-DC power supply generator system

摘要
The hybrid AC-DC power supply generator (HADPSG) system has been applied to various situations. It provides simultaneous.AC and DC power with minimum weight, volume and cost and maximum flexibility to meet the special requirement of the mobile power networks. In this paper the mathematical model of the HADPSG system is established on the basis of the multi-loop method. If the parameters of the generator and DC load don't match, severe power oscillation in the DC side will occur which will result in the system breakdown. Based on a simplified version of HADPSG, the mathematical model for theoretical analysis is set up. The system stability criterion is obtained by the application of the Routh criterion on the local linearized mathematical model. The study on the power oscillation showed the factors that determine the DC side power oscillation. The quadrature axis winding and AC load enhance the system stability. The increase in the DC winding resistance and DC load resistance provides a simple and efficient solution for the power oscillation.
