Obituary Hester Diamond (1928-2020)

Inspired by childhood visits to the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Hester Diamond played a critical role in promoting the work of Barbara Hepworth in North America and, with her husband Harold, became a leading dealer in modern art for several decades. As well as being a successful interior decorator, she formed a major collection of Old Masters over the past thirty years. A philanthropist of great dynamism and originality, she was a generous benefactor to this Magazine.
