摘要
Teaching-learning, generates tremendous volume of soft knowledge that goes mostly undocumented for want of appropriate capture methods. Addressing this issue using Knowledge Management strategies in a Web 2.0 format could yield rich dividends for educational development. Virtual communities that discuss, share and document skills, experiences, insights and best practices form excellent platforms for soft knowledge management. Multimedia texts, video and concept maps and stories are of considerable help in the dissemination of soft knowledge using Web 2.0. As mission-oriented co operative groups collaborate on Web space using social networks, the barriers of soft knowledge sharing including trust and ownership issues dissolve to a great extent. These social learning sites have the potential to transform into soft knowledge repositories.
