摘要
When the concepts of supply and procurement examined together; they are important factors and provide strategic competition advantage in the global business area that includes quality, cost and performance. As a result of high level competition in production area, producers need a continuous, robust and reliable supplier network to sustain and grow their assets. In a market environment that is becoming more and more competitive every day, companies need to strengthen their relationship with their long-term suppliers. It is important to have long-term relationships with the right suppliers and to have the knowledge and the ability to work with new suppliers when necessary. According to this reason, the strategic decisions of the companies are very important. The purpose of this study is to enable firms to select the most suitable suppliers for by using Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process and the ELECTRE methods in the supplier selection process. A large firm that operates in the textile sector has been selected and important criteria have been identified with strategic decision makers. After that, current suppliers were evaluated and the most suitable suppliers for the company were identified.
