摘要
The maturity of current-mode analog signal processing has led to the development of many circuits based on the current-mode approach. Moreover, due to the increasing use of battery-powered systems, in order to reduce power dissipation and hence increase packing density, CMOS integrated circuits with a power supply as low as 1.5 V are becoming mandatory both in digital and analog circuits. Hence, current-mode circuits with a power supply of 1.5 V is designed. However, in order to reduced the comparator chatter, improve on/off control, and generally to reduce sensitivity to noise, the Schmitt trigger is extensively used both in analog and in digital integrated system circuits.
