Topochemical solid-phase reactions of fluorination and the problems of selective functionalization of fullerenes with small inorganic groups

摘要：
Comparison studies of C(60) fluorination with solid binary (MeF(n)) or complex (M(k)MeF(n)) metal fluorides and with elemental fluorine under low-pressure conditions was conducted by means of electron impact mass spectrometry, using Knudsen cell as a reactor. All the reactions are accompanied by distillation of the volatile products C(60)F(2m). The results are discussed in the framework of the developed kinetic model, offering an explanation of the observed facts. The reasons and conditions for selectivity have been recognized.
