摘要：
The unique tectonic characters of deepwater sedimentary strata in Guilin (South China) were studied, the reasons for which were discussed. Unlike those classic-orogenic belts in Europe and North America, the unique geotectonism and evolution of deepwater sedimentary strata in South Chins. resulted from unique mantle convection in depth.
