摘要
Tamil language is one of the main languages in Malaysia. Tamil language is taught as a medium in primary education and a subject in secondary school education. The Tamil language curriculum has developed by the Curriculum Development Center. The Tamil language curriculum is based on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. In addition to this, constructivism, multiple intelligence, mastery learning, thinking skills and future studies are incorporated in teaching of Tamil language. In order to train the students to face the future challenges and to develop scientific ideas among them, future studies are incorporated in Tamil language teaching. This paper discusses on how future studies are incorporated in teaching to build up scientific thinking. (C) 2015 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
