摘要
Distinguishing with all the methods mitigating switched reluctance motors(SRMs)' vibration, this paper presents an effective damping method to weaken the vibration and noise propagation. Evaporative cooling stators can be considered as the damping method to the SRMs' vibration problem, as it reduces the radial electromagnetic forces in stators by immerging them into the evaporative cooling medium liquid. This paper makes some comparisons of mechanical vibration between an evaporative cooling SRM and a conventional SRM by a multi-physic field analysis. According to the specific switched reluctance motor structure, calculations of transient electromagnetic field coupling transient structure field by a finite element numerical simulation software are finished for conventional structure and evaporative cooling stator structure respectively. Calculation results of the vibration velocity of the two structures are obtained. The result comparisons show that the evaporative cooling medium hydraulic pressure can decrease the value of radial electromagnetic force in stators evidently.
