摘要
Acrylic resin/nano-SiO2 leather finishing agent was prepared via emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) indicated that the structure of acrylic resin/nano-SiO2. Dynamics Laser Scattering (DLS) indicated that the average diameter of acrylic resin/nano-SiO2 (155.5 nm) was bigger than pure acrylic resin (97.7 nm) and correspondingly zeta potential decreased. Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSC) analysis showed that the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the EFAR/SiO2 (Tg=- 18.2 degrees C) was higher than that of EFAR (Tg= -23.6 degrees C). Moreover, in contrast to acrylic resin, the applied properties of the leather finished by the acrylic resin/nano-SiO2 were measured: water vapor permeability increased by 7.80% as well as water uptake decreased by 17.89%.
