This is an edition of Ivan Bunin diary entries for the years 1944-1953 from the Ivan Bunin collection in the Leeds Russian Archive. Previously unknown data are presented; editorial principles for publishing Bunin's diary entries, scattered among his other papers, are specified; features that distinguish them from literary fragments, memoir notes and extracts from books are indicated. The annotations highlight the events and relationships of significance in the last decade of Bunin's life.
