摘要
A mechanism for the electron impact ionization of perfluoro-methyl-vinyl-ether ( CF3OCF=CF2) molecules was studied theoretically using quantum chemical calculations. Positive CF3+ and negative C2F3O- ions were abundantly generated, as supported by quadrupole mass spectrometry observations. The vinyl ethers easily dissociated at the ether bond due to polarization of the charge on the bridging oxygen atom. Consequently, perfluoro-vinyl-ethers form abundant CF3+ ions via ether-specific pathways.
