Research on Optimization Method for Enhancing Night Surveillance Image Based on Fusion of Infrared and Visible Light Image

摘要
Aiming at the low resolution problem of the night-time surveillance image, an optimization method for enhancing the night-time surveillance image based on the fusion of infrared and visible light images was proposed. The different characteristics of the two imaging sources were synthesized and some operations such as de-jittering, image filtering, image registration, and image fusion were performed on the original image. The experimental results showed that after the night monitoring image was processed as above, the image information was more abundant and the visualization effect is significantly enhanced. The fusion of these two kinds of image maintained the details of the monitoring target at night and the background outline information as much as possible, so that the fused image could represent the real scene at night, and it was convenient for people to obtain more image information.
