摘要
The blackouts happened around the world have gaining great challenges to power engineers in exploring and exploiting cascading failure mechanism. Since many major cascading failures are caused by the outage of certain lines, it is of great importance to find out critical lines (CLs) which potentially promote cascades propagation towards severe power losses. To identify CLs, a new searching method based on electric betweenness entropy (EBE) is proposed in this paper. Then, by utilizing EBE, it presents a mathematical model which can be further formulated as a mixed integer nonlinear programming problem. In addition, genetic algorithm is adopted to solve the problem. Finally numerical results based on the New England system validate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the solution algorithm.
