摘要
A review of systems installed on UK Government sites has identified that there were inconsistencies between installations. This prompted the study on which this paper is based. The idea of using bright light shining outwards from a secure perimeter as an aid to security is not new. The lighting is intended to provide a glare field which inhibits persons approaching the site from perceiving details within the site. An intruder will suffer a sense of uncertainty providing the site with a measure of deterrence.
