摘要
It is possible that truth as we know it is obsolete. Sometimes it seems that different groups in the United States live in completely different worlds. If "post-truth" means truth has been shattered, segmented, and distributed among different groups, then perhaps post-truth has arrived. Several philosophers have claimed that truth is indeed relative to a person's language or conceptual framework. I examine four arguments philosophers use to support their theory, and try to show that none of these arguments is sound. We may live in a post-truth society, but if so, it's not because truth is relative.
