摘要：

The crystal structure of the title compound, C12H16O3, an analogue of the naturally occurring 1,3-dimethylisochromans or the related naphtho[ 2,3-c] pyrans, confirms that the C-3 methyl substituent adopts an equatorial position in the solid state.
