With the development of the times and society, the increasing population and vehicle volume run counter to the changes in road capacity. Therefore, a series of road traffic problems frequently emerge, which affects people's daily life and social development. The proposal of the "open community" theory be connected the road traffic inside the community with the outside, alleviating the pressure on urban road traffic. This paper selects appropriate indicators and conducts an in-depth study on the impact of "open communities" on road capacity. First, use the analytic hierarchy process to select 8 effective indicators that can evaluate the road system, namely the number of roads, road area, congestion coefficient, road saturation, number of junctions, vehicle types, capacity, and reach; Select the first 6 indexes according to the weight interval to establish a fuzzy mathematics evaluation model based on the membership function. Then choose to use the objective and scientific entropy weight method to determine the index weight. Finally, according to the calculation results of the model, it can be concluded that different road designs in the community have different effects on the capacity of the surrounding roads, and based on the results obtained, try to make reasonable suggestions to the urban planning department and the traffic management department.
