摘要：
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), a concept brought up by Gartner Group in 1990s, is the management thought with the combination of systematization and an application of modern information technique, which offers a management platform of decision means for the decision tier and staffs of the enterprises. ERP, as an advanced enterprise management system, is preferred by more and more enterprises. However, the implement of ERP system in China is far away from effective. There are only a few enterprises that can succeed in ERP implementation and reach the expected effects. After studying the successful and failed cases of ERP system implementation carried out by a great number of manufacturing enterprises, we summarized the main causes and the corresponding proposals to improve the rate of ERP system to be successfully executed by manufacturing enterprises.
