摘要
A novel brain-actuated wheelchair with six steering behaviours has been devised, which is based on mixture model brain-computer interfaces (MM-BCI) by combining P300 potential and motor imagery. Compared with the existing single modal brain-computer interfaces (S-BCI), more control commands and higher information transfer rate have been achieved by using MM-BCI. The experimental results demonstrate that the MM-BCI could efficiently provide six independent control signals for wheelchair navigation with an average accuracy greater than 90%.
